Education

Department of Microbiology , Virology and immunology

Microbiology- is the science that studies microorganisms, which are the smallest forms of life, unarmed, invisible to the eye, their role in nature, structure, and life processes. Microbiology studies microorganisms that are pathogenic, opportunistic for humans, methods of their ecological distribution and differentiation, identification, as well as epidemiology, special treatment and prevention of the disease in which they appear. And the science of Immunology, which is an integral part of the Microbiology of the environment, teaches the means of protecting the body from antigens, particles and cells that are genetically alien to the body. At the stages of bachelor’s training in higher education institutions, the Sciences of Microbiology should take their place in alohide, since Microbiology, immunology and Virology serve as the main basis for further acquisition of knowledge by students and in the development of clinical disciplines.

The goals and objectives of the study

The purpose of teaching natural science is to know the structure, activity, distribution in nature, diagnostics, epidemiology, treatment and prevention measures for infectious diseases caused by their consequences.

The task of science:

– knowledge of the structure of microorganisms;
– have practical skills in performing the microscopic method;
– knowledge of the spread of microorganisms;
– know the diagnosis of diseases that microorganisms call;
– practical application of microbiological diagnostics methods;
– identification of bacteria;
– know the origin of infectious jaundice;
– distinguish between specific and non-specific immune factors;;
– mastering the functions of the humoral and cellular immune systems;;
– know the difference in the structure of viruses and diagnose the diseases they call
to have the knowledge to put;
– knowledge of methods of treatment and prevention of infectious diseases ;
existence.
