It is not surprising that our ancestors showed genuine dedication in the care, preservation and transmission of our mother tongue to the future. After all, they were deeply conscious in their time that the immortality of the people and nation, the various national traditions, written monuments, the vitality of the human mind, the perception and contemplation were manifested directly through their native language. The great poet Alisher Navoi glorified the honor of our language through his works and put forward the slogan of attention to the language – elga e’t ibor. In addition, Huseyn boy International gave an infinitely high assessment to his treatise: “Alisher Navoi died in the dead body of the Turkic language”. On October 21, 1989, the adoption of the law “on the state language” with the enthusiasm and courage of the first president of the Republic Islam Karimov was one of the first practical steps in the direction of independence, and the Uzbek language justified the need to be the state language. Thirty years have passed since the adoption of the law, which granted the status of the state language to the Uzbek language. Of course, this is a very short opportunity for history. But in this short period of time, great works have been done to maintain the purity of our native language, to raise its status. There is not a single sphere in our country that does not use the Uzbek language freely. The Uzbek language fully demonstrates its wide potential in international relations, in the most complex fields of science. Today, the Uzbek language is actively used in major meetings of State importance, international conferences, events, prestigious sports competitions. The fact that our native language is widely used in advanced information and communication technologies, all areas of modern science, economy, medicine, banking and financial system is evidence of its high potential.
The work carried out in the Uzbek language of state power and administration bodies, all organizations and institutions is a valid expression of the restored and elevated status of our native language.
